About

I'm Feng Shen — an engineer who likes building things. My interests sit at the intersection of distributed systems, AI, and developer tooling: how systems coordinate at scale, how AI agents become useful in real workflows, and how the daily tools developers reach for can be quieter, faster, and less in the way.

I'm currently building Fleet, a multi-agent orchestration tool for Claude Code — one operator, many concurrent agents across many repos, one TUI to keep them all productive. It's an experiment in what local-first AI tooling looks like when you treat agent context as a first-class primitive.

Outside of code, I read about how science actually gets done, follow the open-ended algorithms / recursive self-improvement research line, and look for excuses to write small command-line utilities.
